What would our world be like without the arts? Music, drama, dance and visual arts all play a huge role in how our society operates, and it is imperative that their value is seen by the next generation. Having felt a severe lack of art programs in my own elementary experience, my goal is to get quality arts opportunities back in elementary schools.
My main objective in commencing this project is to ensure that elementary-aged children in the Ontario public school system have a quality education in the arts. Though some find it to be a waste of time for children to improve these skills, they truly are essential to a fruitful and well-rounded life.
